Infomacro Attends FISCO BCOS 3rd Anniversary Celebration and Delivers Keynote Speech

2020-12-23

On December 17, 2020, FISCO BCOS held its third anniversary celebration in Shenzhen. With the theme of “Openness – Symbiosis”, the celebration aims to convey the concept of embracing an open community and looking forward to the future with the spirit of ecological symbiosis. Infomacro attended the celebration as a guest and delivered a keynote speech.

At the conference, FISCO BCOS released the “2020 Global Blockchain Development Trend Report”. The report pointed out that the era of industrial blockchain has arrived, and the epidemic is forcing the acceleration of the digitalization process of countries and industries around the world. The requirements for the trustworthiness, openness, agility, and collaboration of the relevant information infrastructures have increased accordingly, and data and other factors of production are required to be more reasonably flowed and configured, and blockchain has been pinned with high hopes for its ability to meet the above demands.

Blockchain played an important role in this year’s outbreak. Infomacro’s Project Director, Mr. Joseph Chan, shared with us how blockchain can help Guangdong and Macao Health Codes realize cross-border mutual recognition when the backstops of the organizations in the two places are not interconnected and the data does not go out of the country.

Based on FISCO BCOS blockchain technology and WeIdentity distributed digital identity solution, we optimize the electronic operation process and achieve secure and efficient data circulation and authentication by virtue of blockchain’s characteristics of distribution, openness and transparency, non-tampering, non-repudiation and security. In May this year, the Guangdong-Macau Health Code Cross-border Mutual Recognition System was launched, and Infomacro provided technical support for the project. Up to now, the “Guangdong-Macau Health Code Cross-border Mutual Recognition” system has served more than 28 million people for smooth customs clearance, which has effectively assisted the two places to join hands in preventing and controlling epidemics and resuming work and production as soon as possible.
