Infomacro won the “Team Award” in the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Workers' Big Data Application Skills Competition

From October 16th to 18th, the final round of the 2019 Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Workers’ Big Data Application Skills Competition “Creating Lingnan through Digital Innovation, Building the Bay Area Together” was held in Foshan City.
Since the launch of the competition in mid-August, it has aroused enthusiastic responses from all walks of life, with the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (HKFTU), Macao Federation of Trade Unions (Macao FTU), and nine municipal trade unions in the Greater Bay Area actively mobilizing their staff to participate in the competition. After a series of competitions, 11 outstanding contestants and 8 outstanding teams finally entered the final round of the final competition, and Winco was awarded the “Group Competition Merit Award” for its outstanding comprehensive ability.
At present, the world has entered the era of big data, which is not only growing rapidly, but also penetrating into various industries, becoming an important factor of production and strategic resource, and implying huge business opportunities and social value. The big data solutions of the contestants in this competition cover a wide range of areas and industries, including population and housing, vocational remuneration, smart universities, smart government, public transportation, human resources, communications, tourism, etc., reflecting that the big data mindset of various industries in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area has gradually taken shape, and is developing rapidly with remarkable results.
The organization of this competition is not only a positive response to the implementation of the spirit of the Outline of the Plan for the Development of the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, but also an important initiative to promote the development of highly skilled personnel in the Greater Bay Area. The theme of the competition is “Creating Lingnan through Digital Innovation, Building the Bay Area Together”, which is also the goal of the Bay Area people. We will use the competition as a carrier and data as a platform to learn from each other, exchange ideas and promote each other, so as to make greater contributions to the development of the big data industry in the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area together!
