Since the launch of the competition in September 2022, it has been highly concerned by various blockchain-related units and organisations such as universities, enterprises, research institutes, industry associations, etc. A total of 118 teams from 21 provinces and municipalities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Chongqing, Guangxi, Hong Kong and Macao participated in the competition, with a scale of nearly 400 participants.

The participating teams covered from key universities such as Sun Yat-sen University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Southeast University, University of Electronic Science and Technology, Ant Blockchain Technology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd, Cloud Inspur Information Technology Co., Ltd., China Electronic Technology Cyber Security Co., Ltd. and China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd, as well as blockchain security and testing centres such as Purple Mountain Laboratories and Dongfang. Ltd. and Purple Mountain Laboratories, Dongfang blockchain security and testing centre and other well-known organisations.

Special invitation to Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, ICT, WeBank Co, WeBank Co., Ltd., Huawei, Hangzhou Qulian Technology Co., Ltd. and other well-known universities, enterprises and research institutes were invited as judges.
