This workshop aims to enhance the understanding of Macao’s higher education institutions and enterprises’ technological innovation policies and to promote Macao’s integration into the overall development of the country. The workshop was held from 23 to 29 June, with rich and colourful contents, including lectures, field trips and exchanges with enterprises.

During the training period, the participants learnt about the national science and technology innovation policy, listened to lectures by experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Hefei Municipal Government, and got to know the latest development of the Yangtze River Delta integrated region and the development of science and technology innovation in Hefei City. The activity also arranged site visits to several national major scientific research facilities and organisations, such as nuclear fusion research and Hefei Light Source, and visits to Hefei Institute of Material Science, China University of Science and Technology and other well-known scientific research units, as well as in-depth exchanges with leading enterprises, such as KDDI, BOE, and Azure, etc. Through this seminar, Vanguard deepened its understanding of the development of the Yangtze River Delta region and the development of science and technology innovation in Hefei.

Through this training, Infomacro deepened its understanding of the national science and technology policy and learnt valuable experience of Hefei in science and technology innovation and industry development, which provides important insights for future development.
